Lulu no longer lunging at her friends

Hi Roman!  Happy New Year!  I want to let you know I continue to make progress with Lulu.  She is now able to be in close proximity to our other dogs without being reactive.

We have to monitor, of course, but she is no longer lunging when she approaches them. She even greets nose to nose sometimes (although it is more that she is interested in pleasing us than getting to know the dogs 🤣).   As you can see in the picture, Lulu is relaxed on the floor while looking up at Gracie in the chair right next to her.

Such progress! This is way more than we ever imagined we could hope for seven months ago.

I absolutely love your approach to training, and look forward to our online sessions, so you can see us working outdoors when the weather improves.

Lulu'S behavior story

For months she was segregated from the other dogs, so we were constantly on guard to make sure we don't forget to close a gate. It made it difficult when we were in the family room with the other dogs and she knew we were with them and not her. She would sometimes start whining for attention. We scheduled time each evening for her to join everyone in the family room, but each dog was tethered on a leash or put in a crate to ensure they could not get close to each other.
