Healing Aggressive Dog Behavior Three Part Workshop

I can't tell you how many times a day I hear, "I've tried everything (negative reinforcement, positive reinforcement, clicker training, a balanced approach…) and nothing has worked."

The one thing that most training methods fail to address is the emotional root of the behavior. While many methods create a temporary solution, they often fail in the long term.

In this three-part webinar, I'll introduce you to attachment theory, and how to use secure attachment to help your dog heal from their aggression or reactivity for good. We’re going to go beyond the traditional training models and take a more holistic, trauma informed, relationship based approach, which has been found to be THE most effective and rewarding way to help you set your dog up for success.

I'll show you how to become a trusted guardian that provides support, encouragement, and guidance to your dog, which can shift negative behaviors, including aggression and reactivity, almost immediately.

We will discuss trauma and how it affects your dog’s thoughts, emotions, and behavior, and what tools and techniques are available for support. We will also discuss nutrition and how it affects dog behavior, and how you can use it heal aggression.

  • Understand why dogs become aggressive (it's not what you think).

  • How episodic memory affects your dog's behavior.
