Directions:

A healthy (well) human could need as little as 10 to 20 mg full spectrum hemp extract/day to support the cannabinoid system.
I shared a blog post ( see above) with some great information on how even this small dose has broad health benefits. That said, I do not consider most humans ( including my self) "well", nor most dogs due to the environment and food intake, etc.

For a healthy pup, depending on body weight, 5mg to 20mg based on your own observations. Start low until you see improvement. I use it for general support (pain/recovery/anxiety/rest).
